Gift card full of stars!

I have another project from the Crafty Chicks Handmade Holiday event to share with you today. This project is a gift card holder with a belly band that slips off and on so that the gift card holder doesn't need to be glued shut.  All of the ladies loved the word "belly band" ;0).

Stampin' Up! has a gift card framelit for the Big Shot in the 2014 Holiday Catalog which makes creating gift card holders so simple!  When the ladies first came to the staion to make the gift card holder, they were worried about how they would cut out the holder form the 6" x 7" piece of cardstock I gave them for the project.  Then they realized it was a die cut, they were very impressed!

The belly band was created by wrapping a 1" by 12" piece of Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Then I die cut stars using the Stars Framelits die from other designs in the Under the Tree DSP pack.  The large star was stamped using Cherry Cobbler stamp pad and the Many Merry Stars photopolymer stamp set from the 2014 Holiday Supplement.

The greeting was stamped using the metallic gold encore pad and the Endless Wishes photopolymer stamp set.

I have another stamp camp on Friday where we will be making more holiday giftables and decorations.  Can't wait to show you what we will be creating!
